From deposit to installation, custom cabinetry usually takes approx. 6-8 weeks, depending on approval of design renderings, site readiness, and delivery of your chosen materials from suppliers. Once designs are approved and mateiarls ordered, I can give you a specific timeline for installation and completion.

I will offer recommendations for cleaning to maintain your finish. At FehrCo, we select the finish that best matches your needs and budget. Our finish options range from Conversion Varnish(our entry-level product) to Acrylic and Polyurethane (our premium upgrades). Storage and workflow are critically important. I offer in-house and on-site options for complete project flexibility. With input from you, we will map out your work zone and recommend tricks to maximize storage. You have final say on the design renderings before manufacturing begins.

Before the design rendering stage, we will require appliance model numbers to ensure exact fit and swing clearances, as well as ventilation space. 

Once design renderings are approved and manufacturing begins, I will provide a readiness checklist (flat/level floors and walls, paint done, flooring in, appliances on site, utilities capped, room clear). This ensures a smooth installation process.

At our initial discussion, before design renderings are done, you will have a chance to decide on what features you want and need. This may include such features as soft-close drawers and cabinets, pullouts, special corner solutions, trash pullouts, spice/pantry, corner units, tray dividers, lighting, etc. Your estimate will include these features.

FehrCo asks for a deposit at sign-off of the design renderings and approval of the Estimate. The balance is due at substantial completion. Any written change orders will impact the final cost and timeline.
